Join our growing tech hub in Málaga and become part of an international team driving data-informed decision-making across BESTSECRET. As a Senior Web Data Analyst, you will be a core member of the Onsite Analytics team, working alongside the Director and 3 Senior peers to deliver critical insights that shape our business strategy. You'll own complex data projects from conception to delivery, translating raw data into actionable intelligence that empowers stakeholders across buying, product, and commercial teams.
In this role, you'll bridge the gap between technical data engineering and strategic business impact, ensuring that our premium fashion platform leverages data as a competitive advantage. Your work will directly influence purchasing decisions, optimize member experiences, and support the scaling of our profitable growth model.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize data models and pipelines using SQL and Python to support analytics workflows at scale.
- Develop and maintain Business Intelligence visualizations and dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Plan and execute A/B testing frameworks to validate hypotheses and measure impact across product and commercial initiatives.
- Coordinate analytics projects with cross-functional stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
- Manage Big Data workflows and ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across our platform.
- Take ownership of analytical challenges, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to team culture through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and mentoring of junior team members.
Your Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience with SQL and Python in a data analytics or data engineering role.
- Proven expertise in data modelling and the ability to design scalable data structures.
- Strong hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools and creating impactful visualizations.
- Demonstrated proficiency with A/B testing, including experimental design and statistical validation.
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative development practices.
- Solid background with Big Data workflows and distributed data processing.
- Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to non-technical partners.
- Self-directed learner with a proactive, critical mindset and strong agile working mentality.
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
- Experience with data orchestration tools (Cron, Apache Airflow) is a plus.
- Knowledge of dbt or similar data transformation frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Growthbook, Jira, or Confluence is a plus.
- Background in statistics or quantitative research is a strong plus.
- Experience implementing AI agents or modern AI tools in analytical workflows is a plus.
