We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst – Supply Forecasting to support our merchandise planning team with data-driven forecasting and strategic insights. In this role, you'll develop and refine predictive models that inform budget allocation and assortment planning decisions. Your work will help ensure our merchandise strategy is aligned with customer demand—maximizing sales potential, minimizing overstock, and supporting more agile, data-informed planning across the business.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve Supply forecasting models to drive merchandise planning across categories, product lines, and seasons.
  • Analyze large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., sales, inventory, promotions, logistics) to generate actionable insights that improve forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with Buying, Merchandising, Demand, and Data Engineering teams to ensure forecasts are aligned with business goals and operational constraints.
  • Present findings and forecasts to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner, using dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  • Design and implement forecast validation frameworks (e.g., backtesting, error tracking, KPI dashboards).
  • Act as a forecasting subject matter expert, contributing to the evolution of tools, processes, and best practices across the planning function.
  • Stay up to date with trends in analytics and forecasting methodologies best practices.

 

Your Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on forecasting, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
  • Solid understanding of time series analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analyses for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance data rigor with commercial impact.
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related.
