Join BESTSECRET as a Senior Buyer Luxury (all genders) based in Paris, and take ownership of a high-impact category where strategic buying, strong brand partnerships and a sharp understanding of customer and market trends come together. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our luxury assortment, drive commercial performance and build strong relationships with leading luxury brands. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Define and execute the buying strategy for the assigned luxury category, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and category performance targets. 

• Manage and develop the assortment portfolio, identifying opportunities to strengthen the brand mix, optimize product selection, and respond to customer demand and market trends. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key luxury brand partners, leading commercial discussions and negotiations to support business growth. 

• Monitor category performance and proactively identify opportunities and risks, using data, market insights and customer trends to inform decision-making. 

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Planning, Marketing and Operations, to ensure successful execution of category plans. 

• Ensure relevant business insights, priorities and commercial updates are effectively communicated to internal stakeholders. 

• Support the Buying Director in implementing category strategies and achieving business objectives. 

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of buying processes, tools and ways of working to enhance efficiency and commercial performance. 

Your Qualifications 

• Degree in Business Administration, Fashion Management, Economics or a comparable field. 

• Proven experience in luxury buying, category management or merchandising, with a strong understanding of the luxury fashion market. 

• Established network within the luxury brand landscape and experience managing relationships with key suppliers and partners. 

• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of delivering successful commercial outcomes. 

• Analytical and commercially driven mindset, with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable recommendations. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions. 

• Entrepreneurial approach with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

• Fluent business English; French is a strong plus, and additional languages are considered an advantage.
