Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the commercial performance of a portfolio of brands, supporting the Product Specialist category, with accountability for key KPIs in close partnership with Merchandise Planning.

Develop and execute buying and assortment strategies aligned with Product Specialist category, classification, and company targets.

Manage strategic relationships with important brand partners in order to further strengthen and expand them and to increase the company's success.

As a (senior) buyer, you will drive existing processes and tools forward and promote innovation and the sharing of best practices across the departments in your business unit.

Manage the complete buying and order process, including assortment planning, brand partner coordination, supplier alignment, and category execution.

Leverage brand partnerships strategically to close assortment gaps and optimize category coverage to meet customer demand.

Ensure a relevant, customer-focused assortment by identifying trends, onboarding new brands, and optimizing seasonal opportunities within the category.

Continuously analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to develop relevant and differentiated brand assortments.

Lead negotiations with brand partners to secure optimal commercial terms, quality standards, and supply reliability.

Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate insights clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with brand partners while representing and promoting the company strategy.
Profile & Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Fashion Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in buying, merchandising, or a commercial role within fashion, retail, or lifestyle categories.

Strong product knowledge and a solid understanding of production, materials, and assortment building.

Proven track record in managing brand relationships and executing commercially successful assortments and collections.

Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data-driven insights into commercially successful assortment decisions.

Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated record of commercial impact.

In-depth understanding of market trends, competitors, and customer needs, particularly in the product specialist or related segments.

Data-driven and commercially minded, with the ability to make KPI-led decisions.
