Ihre Aufgaben

• Fachliche und disziplinarische Führung sowie Weiterentwicklung des Payroll-Teams.
• Verantwortung für die termingerechte, korrekte und gesetzeskonforme Durchführung der deutschen Entgeltabrechnung.
• Koordination und Steuerung der europäischen Payroll-Aktivitäten in Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Ansprechpartnern und externen Payroll-Dienstleistern.
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung lohnsteuer-, sozialversicherungs- und arbeitsrechtlicher Anforderungen.
• Planung, Koordination und Begleitung von Lohnsteuer- und Sozialversicherungsprüfungen sowie internen und externen Audits.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Finance zur Sicherstellung korrekter Payroll-Buchungen, Kontenabstimmungen und Klärung payrollrelevanter Sachverhalte.
• Kontinuierliche Optimierung von Payroll-Prozessen, Systemen und Schnittstellen zur Steigerung von Effizienz, Qualität und Compliance.
• Leitung und Mitarbeit in nationalen und internationalen Payroll- sowie HR-Projekten.
• Erstellung und Analyse von Kennzahlen, Reports und Auswertungen für das Management.

Ihr Profil

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Payroll sowie fundierte Kenntnisse der deutschen Entgeltabrechnung.
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der fachlichen oder disziplinarischen Führung und Entwicklung von Teams.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse im deutschen Lohnsteuer-, Sozialversicherungs- und Arbeitsrecht.
• Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Payroll-Organisationen sowie in der Steuerung externer Payroll-Dienstleister.
• Erfahrung in der Begleitung von Lohnsteuer- und Sozialversicherungsprüfungen sowie Audits.
• Ausgeprägte Projektmanagement- und Prozessoptimierungskompetenz.
• Ausgeprägtes Verständnis von Payroll-Systemen, Prozessen und Schnittstellen sowie die Fähigkeit, Systemoptimierungen und digitale Lösungen erfolgreich voranzutreiben. Kenntnisse in P&I LOGA sind von Vorteil.
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsstärke sowie Erfahrung im Management unterschiedlicher Stakeholder.
• Analytische, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Payroll team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant execution of German payroll operations.
• Coordinate and oversee European payroll activities in collaboration with local stakeholders and external payroll providers.
• Ensure compliance with payroll-related tax, social security, and labor law requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and support payroll tax audits, social security audits, as well as internal and external audits.
• Partner closely with Finance to ensure accurate payroll accounting, account reconciliations, and resolution of payroll-related discrepancies.
• Continuously optimize payroll processes, systems, and interfaces to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Lead and contribute to national and international payroll and HR projects.
• Prepare and analyze payroll-related reports, KPIs, and management information.

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in payroll, including in-depth knowledge of German payroll processes and regulations.
• Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of German payroll tax, social security, and labor law requirements.
• Experience working with international payroll organizations and managing external payroll providers.
• Experience supporting payroll tax and social security audits as well as compliance reviews.
• Strong project management and process improvement skills.
• Strong understanding of payroll systems, processes, and interfaces, with the ability to drive system enhancements and digital solutions. Experience with P&I LOGA is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
