We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator International (m/f/d) to join our international team and support, coordinate, and continuously improve our payroll processes across Europe in close collaboration with the team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate payroll processes across several European countries, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing
- Work closely with external payroll providers and internal teams, particularly Finance and HR
- Support payroll account reconciliations, accounting entries, and the investigation and resolution of discrepancies
- Ensure that payroll processes are documented in a structured, transparent, and traceable manner
- Support internal and external audits and provide the required documentation
- Contribute to the optimization and standardization of our international payroll processes
- Support the transition from local payroll structures to centralized solutions
- Develop and maintain backup and knowledge-sharing processes within the team
Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in Payroll, HR Operations, Shared Services, or Payroll Accounting
- Experience with international payroll processes and working with external payroll providers
- Good knowledge of payroll accounting and account reconciliations is a plus
- Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented working style, combined with a strong affinity for numbers
- Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional European language skills are an advantage
- Enjoy working on process improvements and collaborating in an international environment
