Responsibilities:

Supporting senior designers and product managers with design-related input during ideation and discovery

Conducting basic user research under guidance, using appropriate methods to answer clearly scoped questions (also in collaboration with the Consumer & Market Insights team)

Conducting desk research and contributing to competitive and comparative analyses

Creating concepts, wireframes, and prototypes for digital products
-
Supporting the development of information architectures and user flows

Creating screen designs based on our design system

Learning to design for different user groups and contexts, including both consumer-facing products and internal enterprise applications

Supporting designs across different device types and usage contexts (web applications, mobile applications, station-based applications)

Actively contributing to our design system in collaboration with more senior designers and Brand & Marketing

Making design decisions that are well reasoned and open to feedback, and learning to articulate design rationale clearly
-
Staying up to date with design principles, best practices, and emerging trends

Advocating for good, user-centered design within the team and in cross-functional collaboration
Qualification:
-
Degree or apprenticeship in, e.g., communication design, experience design, graphic design, human-computer interaction, interaction design, media informatics, product design, UX design, or a related field; lateral entrants are welcome

0–3 years of relevant experience in a digital design or UX-related role, depending on maturity of skill set
-
Basic knowledge of human-centered design and what a full HCD process entails
-
First practical experience in some parts of the human-centered design process (e.g., user research, interaction design, information architecture, or screen design)
-
Experience or initial exposure to working with design systems
-
Experience working with a common prototyping and screen design tool such as Figma
-
First experience collaborating with product managers/owners, analysts, and developers, ideally in an agile environment
-
Curiosity and willingness to work across different user groups and contexts (consumer-facing and internal)
-
Strong ability and motivation to learn new things and adapt quickly
