Key Responsibilities:
Build up and scale our retail business in Eastern Europe:

You will identify and evaluate new market opportunities in alignment with our company growth strategy, select sites and locations, negotiate lease deals together with our indirect procurement team from start to end and manage successful store openings, ensuring seamless operational launch and staffing.

To do so, you use your existing strong network to landlords and brokers to find new potential locations. You will also use your knowledge of the local labor market and your personal network to find and hire the right talent to operate the stores.

Based on a clear perspective on the local customer and existing competition you will build an expansion plan and roadmap for the next 5 years to meet our business needs.

Of course, you use your strong negotiation skills to get the best deals possible.
Be a strategic leader:

You will develop and execute regional business plans to meet sales, profitability, and operational goals.

You will analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive activity to refine strategies and improve performance.

For driving region-wide initiatives you will collaborate closely with other teams in Retail such as marketing, merchandising, P&O and finance.
Drive for operational excellence in your stores:

Together with your team of store managers you ensure consistent delivery on business targets and KPIs such as sales growth, conversion rates, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

You continuously drive improvements and cost-efficiency across all stores.
Build and lead high-performance team:

Lead and develop a high-performing team of location or store managers and store teams.

Set clear performance goals for the team and provide coaching to develop their skills and capabilities.

Cultivate an environment of innovation and agility, ensuring the team can adapt quickly to the changes needed.

Support recruitment, training, and career development efforts for the store-level teams.
Qualifications & Experience:

7+ years of multi-unit retail management experience, preferably in a growth-focused, high-volume off-price environment.

Proven track record of leading successful retail expansions and opening new stores in Eastern Europe.

Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.

Financial acumen and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Ability to travel extensively across the assigned region.
