This role is ideal for a mid-level backend engineer who wants to strengthen their software engineering skills, work on meaningful products, and grow in a supportive, high-quality engineering environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Java / Kotlin and Spring Boot
- Build high-quality, reusable, and well-tested code that powers core e-commerce functionality
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features from idea to production
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of the codebase
- Work with APIs and system integrations across payments, logistics, and internal tools
- Contribute to improving development workflows, tooling, and team practices
Your Qualifications
- Experience as a Java Developer / Software Engineer (Mid-Level)
- Strong knowledge of Java (or Kotlin) and frameworks like Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and backend fundamentals
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Familiarity with testing practices (unit/integration testing)
- Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Good communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or similar), Docker, or Kubernetes
- Basic knowledge of messaging tools like Kafka
- Familiarity with JavaScript / TypeScript or frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue.js)
- Experience in e-commerce or high-traffic applications
