The Role
As Commercial Pricing Analyst, you will shape and steer BESTSECRET’s online price positioning across countries and categories, ensuring we offer highly attractive prices to our customers while protecting margin and inventory health.
Working at the heart of our off‑price business, you will translate market signals, customer behavior and competitive dynamics into clear pricing decisions – supported by strong analytics but driven by commercial judgment.
This role combines hands‑on pricing execution, analytical insight and close collaboration with commercial and analytics teams.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekly short‑ and mid‑term online pricing activities based on market, demand and stock signals
- Define and continuously refine category‑specific online pricing strategies
- Analyze competitor pricing in e‑commerce and translate insights into clear pricing actions
- Understand and leverage price elasticity and demand response to actively steer pricing
- Balance key commercial trade‑offs between competitiveness, margin, sell‑through and inventory risk
- Work closely with Buying, Analytics, Supply and Tech teams to ensure pricing decisions are well understood and effectively executed
- Support the further development of pricing processes and analytical tools, together with the wider pricing team
Your Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management or a comparable analytical role in B2C retail or e‑commerce
- Strong analytical skillset, including price analysis, forecasting, scenario simulation and basic optimization
- Hands‑on experience working with data and analytical tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Python or similar)
- Solid commercial understanding of pricing KPIs and business trade‑offs
- Structured, proactive working style with the ability to translate analysis into clear decisions
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with cross‑functional stakeholders
- Fluent business English; German is a plus, but not required
