Our Data Science team enables the company to make data-driven decisions based on complex data. As an important team member, you’ll improve our data product landscape by experimenting, deploying, and testing innovative ideas to drive our business forward.
Your Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for the development of data science projects—from understanding the business and defining goals, to analyzing and preparing data, to developing solutions and deploying them.

Choose, develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models in Python to improve processes and products (using, e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, CatBoost, LightGBM).

Guide stakeholders in the field of data by being actively involved in discoveries and discussions.

Gain insights and recommend actions and data solutions to business stakeholders through experimentation and analysis of complex data.

Work in a cross-functional team with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Software Engineers, and Business Stakeholders.
Your Qualifications

Several years of professional experience in the end-to-end development of data science projects, from ideation to operations, especially in the e-commerce sector. Ideally, you bring experience in topics such as product sorting, recommendation engines, and search.

You have at least a master’s degree in a quantitative subject, e.g., statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or economics.

Profound knowledge of SQL and Python, and excellent data science fundamentals, including models, data structures, and visualization.

Knowledge of software development and its tools (Git, Docker, Azure, AWS).

You are a problem-solving, hands-on, and analytical person, a strong team player with a solution-oriented and proactive mindset.

Very good English communication skills; German is a plus.
