As a Buying Operations Specialist, you play a key role in ensuring smooth order and delivery processes between our Buying team and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Buying team in order creation, confirmation, and follow-up on planned deliveries
- Checking suppliers’ order data for completeness, consistency, and quality, and initiating corrective actions where needed
- Recording and maintaining order data and confirmations in our inventory management system in close alignment with buyers
- Monitoring incoming deliveries for timing and accuracy, and managing resolution of discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders
- Acting as an operational interface between Buying, Logistics, and Master Data to ensure timely product availability and data accuracy
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed commercial training (e.g., Groß- und Außenhandel, Industriekaufmann/-frau) or a degree in Business, Fashion Management, or a related field
- Professional experience in the fashion/textile/ or e-commerce industry, ideally in an operational or supply chain context
- High attention to detail and structured working style
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Confident use of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience with SAP (MM module) and Jira is a plus
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
