Buyer Kids Lifestyle Fashion
As a Buyer in our Kids category, you‘re part of a high performing team. You are responsible for a branded buying portfolio within a growth-driving category in control of a sizable portfolio of brands and vendors, working together with our Buying Division Lead, Buyers and Merchandise Planners in creating new and innovative ways to connect people and fashionable kidswear. This role would suit someone who is already an established and experienced Buyer looking for a new challenge.
Your Responsibilities:

Define, implement, and execute the brand buying strategy, with full ownership and accountability for classification KPIs aligned with commercial objectives -maximizing assortment opportunities and mitigating risks through data-driven decisions.

Deliver the most relevant assortment to meet customer demand by continuously introducing new merchandise and elevated product ranges in line with the overarching classification strategy.

Lead strategic relationships with key brand partners, leveraging strong negotiation skills to drive successful business outcomes.

Share relevant business insights efficiently across internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of key messages and priorities to drive success.

Support the Buying and Planning team in shaping and executing the business strategy, steering investments, and taking full ownership of the assigned classification.

Contribute strategically as a key user by enhancing existing processes and tools, while promoting innovation and best practices across the business unit.
Your Qualifications:

Degree in Business Administration or comparable business training.

3-5 years of professional buying experience in buying apparel & shoes, preferably in the kids wear (off-price) categories.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights, learnings, and complex topics to diverse audiences.

Strong negotiation skills in both stock and preorder business.

Entrepreneurial, analytical, and strategic mindset.

Independent, results-oriented, and innovative approach to work.

Willingness to travel frequently and attend trade fairs regularly.

Confidence in using BI reporting tools and MS Office, especially Excel.

Fluent in spoken and written business English.
