As a Strategic Supply Planner, you will be responsible for steering business performance across intake, inventory and profitability, translating data into clear actions that drive commercial outcomes.
You will connect long-term financial targets with day-to-day execution, ensuring that planning, forecasting and performance tracking are aligned, accurate and actionable. Working closely with division teams and central functions, you will directly influence commercial performance, balancing growth, profitability and inventory efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive end-to-end planning cycle, including annual budgeting, monthly reforecasts and weekly performance tracking
- Ensure alignment between top-down targets and bottom-up plans, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions
- Analyse trading and supply performance, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations to improve growth, profitability and inventory health
- Deliver accurate forecasts across key supply KPIS (e.g. intake, discounting, margins, inventory levels)
- Drive short-term and long-term planning decisions through scenario analysis and performance insights
- Partner closely with division teams to challenge assumptions, improve forecast quality and support delivery of financial targets
- Challenge business assumptions and planning inputs to improve forecast accuracy and commercial outcomes
- Continuously improve planning frameworks, tools and processes in collaboration with data and tooling/reporting teams
- Act as key link across functions, ensuring consistent, data-driven decision-making across the business
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in planning, trading, analytics or a similar role within a commercial environment (e.g. e-commerce, demand or supply planning, retail)
- Strong commercial understanding of key performance drivers such as margins, discounting and inventory dynamics
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business actions and recommendations
- Strong hands-on Excel skills and the ability to independently analyse large and complex datasets
- Practical experience with Power BI, SQL or similar tools , with the confidence to use them in day-to-day work
- Ability to structure problems, build business cases and translate analysis into clear commercial recommendations
- Structured, hands-on approach with the ability to own processes end-to-end
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence decision-making
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple planning cycles and deadlines
