Responsibilities

• Conduct experimentation and prototyping on new initiatives, setting the stage for subsequent Data projects.
• Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models in Python to innovate and enhance processes and products (utilizing tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, CatBoost, LightGBM).
• Actively participate in discoveries and discussions, guiding stakeholders and business analysts in data-related fields.
• Gain insights through experimentation and complex data analysis, recommending actionable solutions to business stakeholders, also leveraging GenAI.
• Suggest improvements to team methodologies and technical tools, driving continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in the end-to-end development of Data Science projects from ideation to operations, especially in the eCommerce sector.
• A master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field, such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or economics.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and possess strong data science fundamentals, including modeling, data structures, and visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of software development and related tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Azure, AWS).
• A problem-solving, hands-on, and analytical personality, with a solution-oriented and initiative-taking mindset.
• Excellent English communication skills.
